This privacy policy explains how Implantello Dental Implant Centers (“Implantello,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles personal information collected through our website, implantello.info (the “site”). It applies only to information collected through the site. Information in your dental record, once you become a patient, is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, described below.

We have tried to keep this policy short and plain. If anything is unclear, please contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Information we collect

Information you give us

You can use the site without telling us who you are. When you choose to fill in one of our forms, we collect the information you enter:

Consultation and contact requests: your name, phone number, email address, preferred center, best time to call and any message you write.
Candidate questionnaire: your answers about your teeth, your current dental work, what concerns you and whether a payment plan would help, along with your contact details.
Smile Design Preview: your email address and, if you choose to upload one, a photo of your smile.
Provider referrals: the referring practice’s name, the contact person’s name, role, phone number and email, the general type of case and any message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. When you submit a form, we store your IP address and browser type with your submission to help us detect spam and abuse.

How we use your information

To respond to your request and schedule your consultation at the center you prefer.
To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request, your consultation and related treatment options.
To prepare a Smile Design Preview from a photo you send us.
To process referrals from dental offices and keep the referring office informed.
To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraudulent submissions, and fix technical problems.
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We use photos you upload only to prepare your preview and discuss your treatment. We will never use your photo in advertising, on this site or on social media without your separate written permission.

Phone calls, text messages and email

When you submit a form and check the consent box, you agree that Implantello may contact you at the number and email address you provided about your request, including by automated means such as scheduling reminders. Consent is not a condition of receiving treatment.

Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also ask any team member to stop calling or emailing you.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only in these limited situations:

Service providers who help us run the site and our practice — for example, website hosting, security, email and scheduling services — and who may use the information only to provide those services to us.
Financing partners, only when you ask us to help you apply for a patient-financing plan.
Referring dentists, when a dental office referred you to us, so we can keep them informed about your care with your agreement.
Legal requirements, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena or court order, or is needed to protect someone’s safety.
Business changes, if our practice is merged, sold or reorganized, in which case this policy will continue to apply to information collected under it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not load analytics tools, advertising pixels or social-media trackers. Our fonts and images are served from our own site.

Two exceptions are worth knowing about. First, our location pages include an embedded map provided by Google; when that map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. If you prefer, you can use the address and directions on the page instead. Second, the site may be delivered through a security and content-delivery service that sets a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from malicious traffic. These cookies are not used to track you across other websites.

Your health information and HIPAA

Information you send through this website — including your questionnaire answers, messages and any photo — is not part of a dental record and is handled under this privacy policy. Please avoid sending detailed medical history through the site; we will collect what we need privately at your visit.

Once you become a patient of Implantello, the health information in your dental record is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how we may use and disclose that information and your rights regarding it. You’ll receive a copy at your first visit, and you can request one at any time.

How long we keep information

We keep website inquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up on your request, and generally no longer than two years after our last contact with you. Smile Design Preview photos from people who do not become patients are deleted on the same schedule, or sooner if you ask. If you become a patient, the information becomes part of your dental record and is kept for the period required by Florida law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information you share. The site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, form submissions and uploaded photos are stored outside the public part of the website, and access is limited to team members who need it to help you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously.

Your choices

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of calls or emails by telling us.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from the site, and ask us to correct or delete it.
You can ask us to delete a photo you uploaded for a Smile Design Preview.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and some information may need to be kept to meet legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it. A parent or guardian should contact us about care for anyone under 18.

Florida residents

We are a Florida dental practice and most of our website visitors live in Florida. Whatever state you live in, you may ask us about the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of marketing messages at any time. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. If a security incident ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by the Florida Information Protection Act and other applicable law.

Links to other websites

The site may link to other websites, such as map services or financing applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes to how we use personal information, we will post a clear notice on the site.
